Beyond Monopoly! York UK is a public boardgame club which meets all day on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays each month at the Railway Institute (RI) in York. The RI is just off Queen Street within sight of the railway station, just a few metres walk from the station.

Saturday 5th July 2008

Saturday 19th July 2008

Saturday 2nd August 2008

If you want to know more about the club, drop a line to our email address bmyork@gmail.com, or please leave a message on 01904 793061 and we'll get back to you. Please feel free to just turn up when you like. You don't have to be a member to come to BM! and you don't have to stop all day. It's easy to pop out for lunch if you want to. The RI has a full bar and serves hot food.

We play lots of new board and card games, especially the great new games coming from Germany like Settlers Of Catan, Carcassonne, Ticket To Ride, Durch die Wuste, Ra, Streetsoccer, 6 Nimmt and loads more. See the GermanGames page.

Beyond Monopoly! has a large collection of games. Please take a look at the game collection to see what we have. In addition many members bring along their own games to play, so there's always plenty to do.

Here's our Game Buying Guide BM! Game Buying Guide

And because BM! is open all day, it's a great chance to play those longer modern games like Powergrid, Game Of Thrones, Shadows Over Camelot, Arkham Horror. LongGames Bring whatever you want to play, except, well... you know. We called the club Beyond Monopoly! for a reason.

Do you live near Peterborough? Then you want to visit Posh Games, a growing club in Peterborough. They meet on a Saturday each month. Check their website for the details.
